On December 13th, the 2023 Jiemian Finance Gala, guided by Shanghai Media Group and hosted by Jiemian News, was held at the Shanghai Tower. Dr. Zhang Minjin, President of the Company, was invited to attend the gala and, as a guest, shared the company's path to independent development.

Focusing on "Vitality and Potential," the event examined China's economic strategy, highlighted key industries, and explored new drivers and potential for China's steady development and economic growth from a more comprehensive perspective.

        In the dialogue, Dr. Zhang Minjin first introduced BRMICRO Electronics, a company based on chip design and algorithm research, providing high-efficiency artificial intelligence algorithm chips and integrated chip-level solutions for customers in industries such as intelligent security, smart homes, automotive electronics, and industrial control, targeting various application fields including information security, multimodal image processing, and voice processing.

        Dr. Zhang then shared his thoughts on the development of my country's integrated circuit industry. He believes that the main difficulty in my country's integrated circuit development lies in the lack of support from an independent ecosystem, forcing it to follow the US lead. However, the current international situation forces us to develop independently, presenting a huge opportunity to build an independent ecosystem. Faced with this significant opportunity, the country is making overall plans and strongly supporting the construction of a self-reliant ecosystem. He believes the next decade will be a golden decade for the integrated circuit industry. Through independent research and development, continuous exploration of innovative fields, and the construction of an independent ecosystem, coupled with the increased national support in recent years, fresh talent will continuously flow into the industry, ultimately shaping my country's chip industry with strong international competitiveness.

        He further shared three stages of the future development of China's integrated circuit industry: the first stage is the era of addressing shortcomings and ensuring supply chain security; the second stage is the exploration of innovative fields, the development of innovative chips, and the leading of new directions in international chip development; the third stage is the era of an independent ecosystem led by innovative applications.
